1. First loosen the locking screw on the 4 inch pillow block bearing eccentric sleeve with an inner hexagon wrench, then insert the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve of the top cover with a small iron bar, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the rotation direction of the shaft.
2. Screw loose the bolts fixing the 4 inch pillow block bearing seat.Remove the bearing from the shaft together with the bearing housing.Note before disassembling the housing at one end of the shaft.Should be the other end of the shaft bearing bolts loosen.
Installation steps and notes for 4 inch pillow block bearing:
1.Before installing the inch pillow block bearing on the shaft, it is necessary to unplug the retaining pin of the bearing jacket, polish the surface of the journal smoothly and clean, and oil the journal to prevent rust and lubricate .
2. Apply lubricating oil to the inch pillow block bearing pedestal and the bearing mating surface, and load the bearing into the bearing pedestal.Then the assembled bearing and bearing housing together on the shaft.Push to the desired location for installation.
3. Do not tighten the bolts to fix the bearing seat first, so that the 4 inch pillow block bearing jacket can rotate in the bearing seat.Also installed on the same shaft on the other end of the bearing and seat, the shaft will rotate several times.
4. Install eccentric sleeve.First, put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the 4 inch pillow block bearing inner sleeve and tighten it by hand along the rotation direction of the shaft.Then insert the iron bar into or against the countersunk hole on the eccentric sleeve.
