440C steel balls bearing is a martensitic stainless steel. Carbon content 1.0%, chromium content 16-18%. Strong rust resistance, it is high-quality stainless steel. Scope of application: Mainly used for manufacturing bearing parts that work in corrosive environments and non lubricated strong oxidizing atmospheres. 440C has good high-temperature dimensional stability, so it can also be used as a corrosion-resistant high-temperature bearing steel.

1. Hardness and wear resistance: 440C stainless steel belongs to high carbon stainless steel with extremely high hardness. After heat treatment, the hardness can reach 58-60HRC. It has excellent wear resistance and is particularly suitable for use in high load and high friction environments.
2. Corrosion resistance: Although the corrosion resistance of 440C stainless steel is slightly inferior to other stainless steels such as 304 and 316, it can still resist the erosion of various chemicals, especially in atmospheric, freshwater, food, and weak acid-base environments. However, corrosion may occur in extreme corrosive environments such as saltwater, acidic or alkaline environments, and appropriate protective measures should be taken during use.
3. Mechanical properties: 440C stainless steel has high strength and toughness, with a yield strength of up to 780MPa and a tensile strength of over 880MPa. Its comprehensive mechanical performance is excellent and suitable for various working conditions.
4. Application areas: Due to its high hardness and wear resistance, 440C stainless steel bearings are particularly suitable for applications that require high loads and wear resistance, such as high-speed rotating equipment, high-precision machine tools, etc. In addition, its excellent corrosion resistance also makes it perform well in highly corrosive environments such as chemical and marine environments.
