I remember that in January 2023, I was first contacted by a German (Mr. M for short) who sent an inquiry on the platform. The inquiry content was to purchase 50mm brass bush. A 2D drawing file was provided with 50mm brass bush specific values and materials. The customer left detailed contact information, including phone number, fax number, company name, and address. I added him on WhatsApp for background check and found out he was a potential customer. So I made a quotation, which not only included the mold price, but also the 50mm brass bush parameters and delivery time.
After a period of follow-up, in July 2023, Mr. M sent a sample picture of a 50mm brass bush with dimensions, weight, and required a quotation. The product structure is simple and the material is clear, so our engineers quickly calculated and quoted the accurate price of the 50mm brass bush. On July 13th, the client recommended a Portuguese person (referred to as Mr. B) to contact and. So I added Mr. B's WhatsApp and quickly got in touch. Mr. B is Portuguese and can communicate with me in English through text. I once called him and he said he doesn't speak English. So communication is relatively slow, but we can only patiently wait for the customer's response. On August 9th, I received a reply from Mr. B and learned that Mr. M is the general manager of a German company. Mr. B often travels to China for business because he is an engineer and quality inspector, and can find products that better meet their needs.
On August 11th, we received the payment and informed the customer that we were ready to start production, reassuring them. The customer has temporarily decided to change the material of the 50mm brass bush to steel material+0.2mm~0.35mm brown layer+colid lubricant to a maximum thickness of 0.03mm After calculating the price, it can remain unchanged. After confirming with the customer again, we will officially start production. We sent a 50mm brass bush sample to the customer before mass production The customer stated that this is exactly the 50mm brass bush they need. We began to accelerate mass production and completed the production task of 20000 first 50mm brass bushes in early September, catching up with the customer's first shipping schedule.
