6004vv ball bearings mainly consist of four basic components: balls, inner rings, outer rings, and retainers. Generally, industrial ball bearings meet the AISI52100 standard, and the balls and rings are usually made of high chromium steel with a Rockwell hardness between 61-65.
6004vv ball bearings are generally used in low load mechanical transmission equipment. Due to the small bearing area of ball bearings, serious mechanical damage is prone to occur during high-speed operation. Therefore, in heavy-duty mechanical transmission, needle roller bearings are often used to increase the bearing surface, improve mechanical transmission efficiency, and reduce mechanical damage.

6004vv ball bearings have changed the friction mode of bearings, adopting rolling friction, which more effectively reduces the friction phenomenon between bearing surfaces, improves the service life of fan bearings, and thus extends the service life of radiators. The disadvantage is that the process is more complex, the cost increases, and it also brings higher working noise.
There are two main sealing forms of 6004 bearings: 6004vv ball bearings with dust covers and 6004vv balll bearings with sealing rings.

6004vv ball bearings with dust cover, suffix 2Z, the dust cover is made of stainless steel or chrome steel. The dust cover forms an extremely narrow gap on the shoulder of the bearing inner ring and can withstand high temperature and high-speed environments. The material of all stainless steel can also be resistant to acid, alkali, and corrosion.
6004 ball bearings with contact seals, suffix 2RS, the seals are made of oil resistant and wear-resistant nitrile rubber with a steel frame. Ordinary sealing rings allow a working temperature of -40 to+100 ℃, and can reach up to+120 ℃ in a short period of time.
