1:Clarify the model of the bearing double row
The model of the bearing double row indicates the basic dimensions, original clearance, cage type, sealing form, lubrication requirements, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to clarify whether the bearing double row model is correct before starting installation.
2:Positioning of bearing double row
A shaft generally has at least two fulcrums for axial and radial support in order to operate smoothly, with each fulcrum having at least one or more bearings. In general, one bearing plays a positioning role, while the other bearing does not. In special circumstances, both bearings play a positioning role simultaneously.
Positioning bearing double row provide radial support and axial guidance. Therefore, the positioning bearing must be fixed on both the shaft and the bearing housing. Deep groove ball bearings, spherical roller bearings,bearing double row angular contact ball bearings, and paired single row angular contact ball bearings can all be used as positioning bearings. Paired tapered roller bearings can also be used. When paired with cylindrical roller bearings without flanges and thrust bearings with radial clearance, they can also be used as positioning bearings.
Non positioning bearing double row only provide radial support and must be movable axially. Axial movement can be generated by the bearing itself (such as cylindrical roller bearings), or it can be relative motion between the inner or outer ring of the bearing and its support.
Cross positioning bearings can be composed of ball bearings or roller bearings that simultaneously bear axial loads in at least one direction.
For fixed side bearings, it is necessary to choose whether the rolling surface can move axially or move on the assembly surface. Use bearings that only move in a unidirectional fixed axial direction on shorter shafts with little difference between the fixed and free sides.
