The meaning of bearing seater

However, the markings of the same bearing seat model in different company samples are not exactly the same. For different applications of standard housings, housings of different materials can be selected, such as special housings of gray cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, stainless steel, and plastic.

1 According to the shape of the bearing seater:
(1) Bearings with outer spherical surfaces, also called bearing units (SKF's parlance). (3) Integral (that is, non-separable) vertical bearing seater assembly, with screw-fastened bearing box cover. These vertical bearing block sets were originally developed as axle boxes for light rail trucks, but they can also be used in traditional vertical bearing block sets. The non-separable vertical bearing seat assembly has higher rigidity than the separate bearing seat, and some can withstand heavier loads. The outer spherical bearing seat is also an integral seat.
