C3 in bearing refers to the bearing clearance, specifically the radial clearance of radial bearings, which is larger than the standard clearance. Due to the large clearance of C3 bearings, they can better adapt to high-speed operation and high vibration conditions. Under these conditions, a larger clearance helps reduce friction and heat generation, lower the operating temperature of the bearing, and thus improve the reliability and lifespan of the bearing.
In addition, C3 in bearing indicates that the bearing is also suitable for situations where the interference fit between the inner and outer rings is large, or the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings is large, requiring the bearing to withstand large axial loads or improve the alignment performance of deep groove ball bearings, or requiring the increase of bearing limit speed and the reduction of bearing friction torque. Suitable for high-speed motor structures, ordinary group bearings generate heat and noise when used at high speeds, while C3 group bearings do not Generally, it can replace ordinary level ones.
C3 in bearing, except for deep groove ball bearings, are selected for rolling bearings when the following conditions are met: 1. When the speed exceeds 70% of the bearing reference speed; When the temperature difference between the inner and outer rings is greater than 10 ℃
The C3 clearance value varies for different types and nominal inner diameters of bearings.
C3 in bearing - deep groove ball bearing: maximum 28 μ m, minimum 13 μ m. Standard clearance CN: maximum 20 μ m, minimum 5 μ m. Small clearance C2: maximum 11 μ m, minimum 1 μ m. CM clearance: maximum 12 μ m, minimum 5 μ m.
The adjustment and pre tightening of clearance are usually achieved by adjusting the axial relative displacement between the inner and outer rings of the bearing.
By adjusting the clearance of the bearings, the bearing capacity and rotational accuracy can be improved, and the service life of the bearings can be extended.
