How to remove ceramic axle bearings?

1. Knocking method: Knocking force is generally added to the inner ring of ceramic axle bearings. Knocking force should not be added to the movable body and cage of the bearing. This method is simple and easy, but it is easy to damage the ceramic axle bearings. When the bearing is located at the end of the shaft, use a copper rod or other soft metal material smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing to resist the shaft end. Add a pad to the lower part of the bearing and tap lightly with a hand hammer to remove it.

2. Pushing method: Use a press to push ceramic axle bearings, which is smooth and reliable without damaging the machine and bearing shielding machine room. Presses can be hydraulic, manual or mechanical.

3. Hot removal method: used to remove tight-fitting ceramic axle bearings. First, use an oil can to pour engine oil heated to about 100 degrees onto the bearing to be disassembled. After the bearing ring expands due to heat, you can use a puller to pull out the bearing.

4. Pull-out method: Use a special puller. When disassembling, just rotate the handle and the self-lubricating bearing will be slowly pulled out. When disassembling the outer ring of the bearing, the angles of the two legs of the puller should be opened outward; when disassembling the inner ring of the bearing, the two legs of the puller should be inward and stuck on the end face of the inner ring of the bearing.
