(1) The mounting support of the crane bearing (the seat supporting the lower bottom surface of the ring gear and the seat placed on the upper surface of the inner seat ring) must have sufficient rigidity, and the mounting surface should be flat. Before assembling the crane bearing, the bearing should be treated with stress relief to reduce the deformation of the slewing bearing. During assembly, the contact surface between the support and the crane bearing must be cleaned.
(2) During the use of the tower crane, attention should be paid to the change of noise and the change of the turning resistance moment. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, it should be dismantled and inspected.
(3) Crane bearing must be lifted or stored horizontally, not vertically to avoid deformation.
(4) Before the bolts are fully tightened, the meshing inspection of the gears should be carried out, and the meshing conditions should meet the requirements of the gear accuracy: that is, the contact spots distributed on the tooth surface of the gear pair after running under slight braking are in the direction of the gear tooth height. Not less than 25%, and not less than 30% in the length direction of the gear teeth.
(5) Debris should be removed once every 10 shifts of tooth surface work, and grease should be reapplied.
(6) In order to ensure the reliability of bolt work and avoid insufficient bolt pre-tightening force, the pre-tightening torque of bolts should be checked respectively after the first 100 hours and 500 hours of slewing bearing operation. After that, the preload torque should be checked every 1000 hours of operation.
(7) The bolts and nuts connecting the crane bearing are made of high-strength bolts and nuts; double nuts are used to fasten and prevent loosening.
(8) When tightening the nut, lubricating oil should be applied to the thread of the bolt and the end face of the nut, and should be tightened symmetrically and evenly several times in the circumferential direction with a torque wrench. The pre-tightening torque on each bolt should be approximately even when tightening the final pass.
(9) Four oil cups are evenly distributed on the upper surface of the ring gear of the crane bearing aligned with the raceway, thereby adding grease to the raceway. Under normal circumstances, the crane bearing is lubricated once every 50 hours of operation. You must add enough oil each time until grease seeps out of the seal.
