The crusher bearing is an important component of the crusher, and spherical roller bearings are generally selected.The specific model of the crusher bearing can be determined from three aspects: bearing size, bearing accuracy, and internal clearance of the bearing.
Crusher bearing size
Calculate the size of the eccentric shaft based on the crushing force. After initially determining the journal of the eccentric shaft at the frame bearing and the moving jaw bearing, the crusher bearing specifications are usually selected as much as possible using the medium width series specifications to verify the theoretical service life of the bearing and meet relevant standards.
Crusher bearing accuracy

Crusher bearing accuracy includes two aspects: dimensional tolerance and rotational accuracy. Whether it is the geometric tolerance of the components of the bearing or the radial and axial runout errors during rotation, ordinary precision bearings can meet the requirements of jaw crushers operating at spindle speeds below 300r/mim.
Internal clearance of crusher bearing
Spherical roller bearings only have radial clearance, which is divided into five groups according to the standard. The manufacturer has already selected and adjusted the clearance before leaving the factory. At this time, the clearance is called the original clearance. After the assembly of the crusher bearing, its original clearance will be reduced. For dynamic jaw bearings, the eccentric shaft is assembled using interference fit. After heating, the inner ring of the moving jaw bearing expands and is installed on the eccentric shaft. The expansion of the inner ring will reduce the original clearance of the bearing.

If the wear of the shaft is minimal, simply to repair its geometric shape, it can be machined on a lathe to achieve the correct geometric shape of the shaft neck, and then the crusher bearing inner diameter can be correspondingly reduced. But after several such treatments, if the journal size decreases by 5% compared to the original, it is not allowed to turn again and a new shaft should be replaced.
