Double row thrust ball bearing characteristic！

There are two kinds of double row thrust ball bearing, respectively w is a flat seat ring or a self-aligning seat ring. Bearings with self-aligning seat ring can be used with self-aligning seat washer to compensate the angle error between the bearing surface in the bearing seat and the shaft.

In order to make the bearing run well, double row thrust ball bearing, like all ball bearings and roller bearings, must bear a certain minimum load, especially at high speed or acceleration, or change work quickly in the direction of load. Under these conditions, the inertia force of the ball and cage and the friction in the lubricant will have a bad influence on the rolling of the bearing, and the sliding movement between the ball and the raceway may be harmful to the bearing. In the case of starting at low temperature or high viscosity of lubricant, a larger minimum load may be required. The weight of the bearing, plus the external force, especially under the condition of vertical axis, usually exceeds the required minimum load, so it must be pre-tightened, such as using springs.
