Auto engine bearing usually adopt the structure of steel back + anti-friction alloy.

The commonly used anti-friction alloys are babbitt alloys, copper-based alloys, and aluminum-based alloys.

Babbitt alloys are divided into two types: tin-based and lead-based.

Babbitt alloys have low fatigue strength, low allowable specific pressure and operating temperature.It is also generally used in gasoline engines with low degree of strengthening;
Copper-based alloys are divided into two categories: lead bronze and copper-lead alloys;

Aluminum-based alloys are divided into high-tin alloys and low-tin alloys.

Aluminum-based alloys are currently the most widely used in internal engine crankshaft bearings.

The alternator bearing is a single-row sealed ball bearing.This type engine bearing is mainly subjected to centripetal force. It is required to operate reliably under the condition that the speed exceeds 2000r/min. Besides,the temperature exceeds 180℃. The ferrule and rolling element are made of high-purity GCr15 steel, and the hardness after heat treatment is required to be 58. ~64HRC.The cage is generally made of nylon. And the sealing ring is generally made of rubber,the reference standard is JB/T8167-2006.

The electromagnetic clutch engine bearing of the air conditioner compressor is a double row angular contact ball bearing.Which the outer ring rotates, the speed of the air conditioner pulley can reach 7000~13000r/min, and the maximum temperature is 160℃,same material.
