The temperature of ordinary bearings is around 160 degrees, while the temperature of ceramic balls can reach over 220 degrees.

Silicon nitride balls have the characteristics of low density, high hardness, low friction coefficient, wear resistance, self-lubricating, and good rigidity, making them particularly suitable as rolling elements for high-speed, high-precision, and long-life hybrid ceramic ball bearings (with metal inner and outer rings). Generally, the inner and outer rings are made of bearing steel (GCr15) or stainless steel (AISI440C), and ceramic balls can be made of ZrO2, Si3N4, or SiC materials.

Suitable for high-speed and high-precision rotation, without affecting its accuracy in high temperature, magnetic field, water, etc., and can withstand synthetic loads. The standard contact angles are 15 °, 30 °, and 40 °. The larger the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity, while the smaller the contact angle, the bearing can withstand radial and unidirectional axial loads. Generally, paired installation is adopted.
Ceramics have advantages such as cold resistance, low stress elasticity, high pressure resistance, poor thermal conductivity, light weight, and low friction coefficient, and can be applied in high-speed spindles and other high-precision equipment; Due to its lack of magnetism, it does not absorb dust and can reduce bearing surface peeling, thereby reducing operating noise. Can be used in demagnetization equipment, precision instruments, and other fields.
