What is hydraulic cylinder rod end bearing?

The hydraulic cylinder rod end bearing is a standardized, ready-to-install machine element used to transmit the static and dynamic forces associated with rotational, tilting and rotational movements.

This rod end is used in hydraulic cylinders and is designed for particularly high forces.

Common variations of hydraulic cylinder rod end bearings include:

Version with internal thread
Internal thread slotting, clamping screws
Slotted internal thread, clamping screw, connection dimensions to DIN 24338
Slotted internal thread, clamping screw, connection dimensions to DIN 24555

Internally threaded hydraulic rod ends are produced as standard and require maintenance and can be re-lubricated using a tapered lubrication nipple.
