1. Male rod end bearings can bear radial loads, axial loads or combined loads of radial and axial loads. Since the outer spherical surface of the inner ring is inlaid with composite materials, the spherical bearing can produce self-lubrication during operation.

2. Generally, male rod end bearings are used for low-speed swinging motion and low-speed rotation. They can also be tilted within a certain angle range. When the eccentricity between the support shaft and the shaft housing hole is large, they can still work normally. Self-lubricating spherical bearings are used in water conservancy, professional machinery and other industries.

3. The allowable operating temperature of male rod end bearings is mainly determined by the matching materials between the sliding surfaces of the bearings. However, for all lubricated and self-lubricating spherical bearings, they can be used in the temperature range of -30℃ to +80℃ and maintain the correct bearing capacity.

4. The inclination angle of male rod end bearings is much larger than that of general adjustable rolling bearings, and is very suitable for use in bearing parts with low concentricity requirements. The inclination angle range of general radial spherical bearings is 3°~15°, the inclination angle range of angular contact spherical bearings is 2°~3°, and the inclination angle range of thrust spherical bearings is 6°~9°.

Male rod end bearings are widely used in various occasions of swinging motion, tilting motion and rotational motion at low speed.

4. The influence of temperature on the life of male rod end bearings
When the working temperature of male rod end bearings exceeds 120℃, the bearing parts will lose their original dimensional stability. Therefore, for bearings with working temperatures higher than 120℃, special requirements can be made to us to select bearings with special heat treatment.
