Lubrication of motor ball bearing, a good opportunity not to be missed

As we all know, the lubrication of the motor ball bearing will directly affect the service life of the bearing and the service life of the motor. It is very important to add grease (oil) to the motor ball bearing correctly and regularly. Today, I will give you a brief introduction to the main precautions for bearing lubrication:

1. For small motors, the Marathon motor has fully adopted double-sealed bearings (the bearing model is followed by "ZZ"). This bearing is pre-oiled and does not need to be oiled again.

2. Motors with oil injection and discharge device, these motors have been filled with oil before leaving the factory, but after the motor is used, it needs to be regularly filled with grease according to the time, grease brand and oil amount on the oil filling plate. Replace the grease according to the regulations of the motor use and maintenance guide (usually one year).

Refueling method:

Open the grease nipple, make sure that the grease nipple is clean, connect the grease nipple with a manual oil gun or a pneumatic grease gun, and pour in the grease according to the time, grease grade, and amount of fuel on the grease label.

If there is no way to control the amount of refueling, you can open the oil discharge port when refueling. After adding oil, let the motor run for 20-30 minutes to allow the excess grease to be discharged. Then cover the oil filling nozzle and oil discharge port with dust caps, and the refueling is over. .

If there is too much grease in the bearing, failure to drain the oil will also cause the bearing to fail quickly; if there is too much grease in the bearing, the grease will be rubbed and squeezed in the bearing when the motor is running, resulting in high temperature, and the shaft and the bearing are fitted with interference, such as the bearing temperature is too high If the temperature of the shaft cannot keep up with the bearing, it is easy to run the inner ring. If the bearing runs away from the inner ring, the bearing will soon fail.

When refueling, be sure to see the grease grade on the oil filling label and use the correct lubricating grease. If the added grease is incompatible with the original grease, the life of the bearing will be greatly reduced.
