The installation method of needle roller inner ring bearing mainly includes the following steps:
1. Preparation work: Ensure the flatness of the shaft and seat surface, and perform pre-treatment if necessary. Check if the needle roller is in good condition and perform necessary cleaning.
2. Choose installation method:
a. Press fit: If the inner ring of the needle roller bearing is tightly fitted with the shaft, but the outer ring and the hole of the bearing seat are loose, a press can be used to press the shaft onto the shaft, and then the shaft and bearing can be placed into the hole of the bearing seat. During pressure installation, a soft metal assembly sleeve (such as copper or low-carbon steel) can be placed on the end face of the bearing inner ring to protect it from the shaft.
b. Heating assembly: suitable for needle roller bearings with large interference fit. Heat the bearing or seat ring to 80-100 degrees and then install it into the shaft or seat ring. Pay attention to controlling the oil temperature to avoid affecting the bearing performance due to excessive temperature rise.
c. Auxiliary sleeve installation: Use the auxiliary sleeve to support the needle roller, lift the needle roller through its chamfer, and slowly move inward until it is installed in place. The outer diameter of the auxiliary sleeve should be 0.1-0.3mm smaller than the shaft diameter.
3. Specific installation steps:
For needle roller inner ring bearing, a layer of lubricating grease can be applied to the rolling surface of the shaft or housing hole, and then the needle rollers can be fixed in sequence on the lubricating grease at the installation position. When rolling the needle for the last time, there should be enough gap, and the size of the gap should be 0.5 millimeters around the needle bearing.
For needle roller inner ring bearings, they should not be struck with a hammer, but pressed in with a press to avoid local deformation of the outer ring.
4. Inspection after installation: After installation, check whether the position of each bearing and the position of the needle roller are consistent, and whether there is any tilt or inversion. Add appropriate grease as required to ensure good bearing operation.
