A. Nu nj nup have different structures
1. NU bearings have double ribs on the outer ring and no ribs on the inner ring;
2. NJ bearings have double ribs on the outer ring and ribs on the inner ring.
3. NUP--Cylindrical roller bearings with single ribs on the inner ring and flat ribs, the bearing rings cannot move axially and can be restricted in two directions
B. Nu nj nup have different functions
In NU type bearings, the outer ring has two rigid ribs and the inner ring has no ribs. Therefore, the axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing can occur in both directions and within certain limits. During the rotational movement, the length compensation occurs in the bearing between the roller and the raceway, without constraints, without ribs, and therefore almost no friction. The maximum axial displacement s is given in the product table. The bearings are used as non-locating bearings, they cannot axially guide the shaft in either direction. When used as semi-locating bearings, they can be used in combination with L-shaped HJ section rings.
NJ type bearings have two rigid ribs on the outer ring and one rigid rib on the inner ring. In this cylindrical roller bearing, the axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing can only occur in one direction. The maximum axial displacement s is given in the product table. NJ bearings are used as semi-locating bearings and can guide the shaft axially in one direction. Semi-locating bearings NJ can be combined with L-section rings HJ to form locating bearing units.
NUP cylindrical roller bearings have two rigid ribs on the outer ring and one rigid rib and a loose rib washer on the inner ring. In this type of cylindrical roller bearing, there is no axial displacement between the shaft and the housing. NUP bearings are used as locating bearings. They can guide the shaft axially in both directions.
