However, this type of grease is not suitable for long-term lubrication use. Therefore, it is recommended to relubricate after installation.
Closed pressure roller bearing
Some stamped outer ring needle roller bearings are closed at one end. They are used for sealing the bearing arrangement at the shaft end. The closed end prevents damage caused by the rotating shaft and prevents contamination and moisture from entering the bearing.
Depending on the size, the closed end may have flat or rolled edges (reinforced edges). Due to the closure of one end of the bearing, it can withstand a small axial guiding force.

The design of open and closed pressure roller bearings without seals complies with DIN 618-1/ISO 3 245, while the design with seals complies with DIN 618-2. Under normal operating conditions, the sealing lip can prevent contamination, splashing of water droplets, and grease leakage.

The maximum operating temperature of bearings without seals can reach+140 ° C.
Due to the limitations of lubricants and sealing materials, sealed open and closed stamped outer ring needle roller bearings are suitable for temperatures ranging from -30 ° C to+100 ° C.
