1. Feeler gauge test method:
For the bearing seat with larger diameter, the radial clearance of bearing is larger, so that it can be directly detected with a narrower feeler.For the bearing seat with small diameter, the clearance is too small to be measured with a feeler, but the side clearance of the bearing seat must be measured with a feeler with appropriate thickness.
2. Lead pressure detection method for radial clearance of bearing:
It is more accurate to detect the bearing seat radial clearance of bearing by pressing lead than by feeler gauge, but it is more trouble.The aluminum wire used for testing should be soft, and the diameter should not be too large or too small.

The methods commonly used to adjust the radial clearance of bearing are as follows:
1. For the side clearance of cylindrical and oval bush, it can be adjusted by hand grinding or by scraping after turning with cushion on the middle part of the bearing.
2. For the top clearance of cylindrical and oval bush, it can be adjusted by hand scraping or adding pad to the middle section of the bearing when the situation permits.
3, for the multi-oil wedge fixed type bearing bush, in principle, it is not allowed to scrape and adjust the bearing bush clearance, clearance should be replaced when the new watts.
4.For multi-oil wedge tilting bearing bush, it is not allowed to repair or scrape the tile. If the radial clearance of bearing is not suitable, the tile shall be replaced.For tiles with adjustable thickness, the amount of tile can be adjusted by adding a stainless steel pad under the adjusting block behind the tile or by reducing the thickness of the adjusting block.
