Assembly of split plain bearings:
Split plain bearings, also known as split bearings, have the characteristics of simple structure and convenient adjustment and disassembly. Two bearing bushes are inlaid on the bearing bush, and a reasonable gap is adjusted with gaskets at the joint.
①Assembly of bearing bush and bearing body
The upper and lower bearing pads must be in good contact with the bore of the bearing body. If the requirements are not met, use the inner bore of the thick-walled bearing pad as a reference to scrape the back of the bearing pad. At the same time, the steps at both ends of the bearing pad should be close to the two ends of the bearing body. For thin-walled bushes, it is only necessary to make the middle parting surface of the bearing bush about 0.1 mm higher than that of the bearing body, and there is no need to repair and scrape.
②The bearing pad is installed in the bearing body, and no displacement is allowed no matter in the radial or axial direction. Usually, the steps at both ends of the bearing pad are used for stop positioning or positioning pin positioning.
③Scraping of bearing bush
The split plain bearing pads generally use matching shaft grinding points. Generally, the bearing pads are scraped off first, and then the bearing pads are scraped on. In order to improve efficiency, the bearing pads and covers may not be installed when scraping off the bearing pads. The contact points of the lower bearing pads are basically When the requirements are met, press the upper bearing bush and the upper cover tightly, and further correct the contact point of the lower bearing bush when scraping the upper bearing bush. The tightness of the shaft can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the gasket as the number of scrapes increases. When the bearing cover is tightened, the shaft can rotate easily without obvious gap, and the contact point meets the requirements, that is, the scraping is completed.
④Measurement of bearing clearance
The size of the bearing clearance can be adjusted by the shim at the middle split surface, and can also be obtained by directly scraping the bearing bush. The lead pressing method is usually used to measure the gap of split plain bearings. Take several pieces of lead wire whose diameter is larger than the bearing gap, put them on the journal and the mid-section surface, then tighten the nut to make the mid-section surface compact, then unscrew the nut and take off the bearing cover , Carefully take out the flattened lead wire, and use a micrometer to measure the thickness of each section, and the bearing clearance can be known according to the average thickness of the lead wire. Generally, the clearance of the bearing should be 1.5‰-2.5‰ (mm) of the shaft diameter, and the smaller clearance value is taken when the diameter is larger. If the shaft diameter is 60mm, the bearing clearance should be between 0.09-0.15mm.
