Stud roller bearing have a threaded stud that extends from the inner race to secure the bearing to a component. This mounted stud allows the roller bearing to move along a track. Also called track ball bearings, track rollers can handle light-to-moderate loads and are often used in conveying applications.
The stud has a fixing thread and in most cases, a hexagonal socket on both ends. It's also available with a shrink fitted eccentric collar. Due to the eccentric collar, the outside surface of the outer ring can be adjusted to match the mating track on the adjacent construction
Flat stud roller bearing
These stud roller bearing have a flat-roller head style that runs along a track in applications where a flange on the head is not needed to help guide the roller.
Flanged stud roller bearing
These stud roller bearing have a flanged-roller head style for applications where the roller needs more guidance along the track and to withstand thrust loads.
V-Groove stud roller bearing
V-groove stud roller bearing have a deep channel along the roller head to connect to a rail. They are useful for dirty environments where dust and dirt fall away from the track and can't accumulate on a flat surface.
Crowned stud roller bearing
Crowned stud track rollers have a spherical-shaped head style that better accommodates a track that may not be perfectly aligned and squared with the track roller. Their curved, outer races reduce unwanted thrust loads, or rotary scrubbing or skidding due to misalignment which extends the life of the bearing.
T-Slot stud roller bearing
These stud roller bearing fit into the channels on T-slot profile framing. The channels help guide the rollers in moving frames, panels, and components in applications that use profile framing such as material handling and automation assemblies.
