The taper lock bearing sleeve is the most common component for bearings with tapered holes to be positioned on cylindrical shafts, as it can be used for optical shafts or stepped shafts.
This taper lock bearing sleeve is easy to install and does not require additional fixing on the shaft. The bearing can be positioned at any position on the shaft when the set sleeve is used on the optical shaft. When the step shaft is used with the step ring, the bearing can be accurately positioned in the axial direction, and the bearing can be easily removed.

The taper lock bearing sleeve is used to fix the tapered hole aligning bearing (aligning ball bearing, aligning roller bearing) on the shafeless shoulder shaft. It has simple structure, reliable operation, convenient bearing exchange, and is widely used in textile, light industry, paper making, metallurgy, belt transportation and conveying equipment.

The taper lock bearing sleeve is composed of tightening bushing, locking nut, locking washer (or locking clamp) and other parts. Setting sleeves with locking nuts and locking washers are interchangeable only in complete sets. Parts from different sources are not interchangeable.
The difference with the release sleeve
The setting sleeve tightens the round nut against the bearing, and the reverse is true for the disconnecting sleeve. The specific method of realization is different in the place of thread opening: the tight sleeve is in the thin place, and the release sleeve is in the thick place. The figures are as follows.
