Can thrust bearing load capacity withstand radial loads?
(1) Thrust bearing load capacity cannot bear radial load:  
Different types of thrust bearing load capacity size is different, some can two-way axial load bearing, can only one-way load bearing, such as 52000 can bear two-way axial load.
(2) Thrust ball bearing is designed to bear thrust load when running at high speed.
It consists of a gasket-like ring with a ball rolling groove.Because the ring is cushion, the thrust bearing load capacity is divided into two types: flat base cushion and self-aligning spherical cushion.In addition, the bearing can withstand axial load, but not radial load.
(3)Unidirectional thrust bearing load capacity can bear unidirectional axial load. Bidirectional thrust ball bearing, can withstand bidirectional axial load.

Thrust ball bearings must apply minimum load or preload.  When the shaft is perpendicular, the weight of the shaft usually exceeds the minimum load.  At this time, due to the influence of the axial load in the opposite direction, the load of the action may be reduced.  
When the thrust ball bearing runs at high speed, the contact Angle between the ball and the radial plane of the raceway will be affected by centrifugal force, resulting in the sliding of the ball relative to the raceway.  The adhesive wear caused by this sliding can damage the bearing.
