Application classification

Two-way bearings match the middle ring with the shaft. One-way bearings can bear unidirectional axial loads, while two-way bearings can bear bidirectional axial loads. Bearings with spherical mounting surfaces of the seat rings have self-aligning performance, which can reduce the influence of installation errors. These bearings are mainly used in automobile steering mechanisms and machine tool spindles.

Thrust roller bearings are divided into thrust cylindrical roller bearings, thrust self-aligning roller bearings, thrust tapered roller bearings and thrust needle roller bearings. Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used in oil rigs and steel-making machinery. Thrust self-aligning roller bearings are mainly used in hydro-generators, vertical motors, ship propeller shafts, tower cranes, extruders, etc. Thrust tapered roller bearings are mainly used in one direction: crane hooks, rotating rings of oil rigs. Two directions: roll necks of steel mills.
