1.Thrust plain bearing structure
The thrust plain bearing is mainly a sliding bearing with a special structure consisting of an inner ring with an outer spherical surface and an outer ring with an inner spherical surface. It can withstand larger loads.

2. Thrust plain bearing performance
1) Thrust plain bearing can bear radial load, axial load or combined load of both radial and axial directions. Since the outer spherical surface of the inner ring is inlaid with composite material, the spherical bearing can produce self-lubrication during operation.
2) Generally, thrust plain bearings are used for low-speed swing movements and low-speed rotations. They can also perform tilting movements within a certain angle range. When the non-concentricity between the support shaft and the shaft shell hole is large, it can still work normally. Self-lubricating spherical plain bearings are used in water conservancy, professional machinery and other industries.
3) The allowable operating temperature of thrust plain bearing is mainly determined by the matching materials between the bearing sliding surfaces. However, all lubricating and self-lubricating spherical bearings can be used in the temperature range of -30°C to +80°C and maintain the correct bearing capacity.
4) The inclination angle of thrust plain bearing is much larger than that of general adjustable rolling bearings. It is very suitable for use in support parts with low concentricity requirements. Generally, the inclination angle of radial spherical bearings ranges from 3° to 15°, and the angle contact joints The inclination angle range of the bearing is 2° to 3°, and the inclination angle range of the thrust spherical bearing is 6° to 9°.thrust plain bearing

3. Application of thrust plain bearing
Thrust plain bearings are widely used in various situations of low-speed swing motion, tilting motion and rotational motion.

4. Effect of temperature on thrust plain bearing life
When the operating temperature of spherical bearings exceeds 120°C, the bearing parts will lose their original dimensional stability. Therefore, for bearings with operating temperatures higher than 120°C, special requirements can be made to HRB Company to select bearings that have undergone special heat treatment.
