Needle roller bearings consist of a ring, needle rollers, and a cage. In terms of the same load-bearing capacity, the cross-sectional size of needle roller bearings is the smallest. Suitable for situations with high speed, large load, and small bearing space. Needle roller bearings, also known as needle shaped rollers, have a slender shape.
The main types of needle roller bearing
1. Centripetal needle roller and cage assembly (K-type);
2. Needle roller bearings with double locking rings on the outer ring (NA type, NKI type, RNA type, NK type);
3. Single row needle roller bearings with double retaining edges on the outer ring (NA type, NKI type, RNA type, NK type);
4. Double row needle roller bearings with double retaining edges on the outer ring (NA type, RNA type);
5. Stamped outer ring needle roller bearings (HK type, BK type).
This types of needle roller bearing has low cost, high load-bearing capacity, and is suitable for supporting structures with limited installation dimensions. The surface of the shaft neck is hardened as the rolling surface, and the bearing is pressed into the seat hole for fitting without the need for axial positioning. This types of needle roller bearing should be injected with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease before installation. Generally, BK type bearings do not need to be lubricated after assembly. They are used in supports with no protruding ends of the shaft neck, and the end face closure serves as a seal and can withstand small axial forces.
