About the performance characteristics of yoke track roller bearings

Yoke track roller bearings have thick-walled outer rings. With this outer ring, the rollers can roll directly on the raceway and can withstand high loads. The outer rings of yoke track roller bearings are available in cylindrical and spherical shapes. The spherical shape can be used to compensate for the tilt position during installation.

Tolerance: The size, shape and rotation accuracy of the yoke track roller are usually P0 level. The outer diameter tolerance of the support roller with arc-shaped outer diameter is mm. The width tolerance of NATR, NATV and NUTR bearings is h12.

Adjustability: The adjustability of the yoke track roller with a cylindrical outer diameter is very small. It is about 3 to 4′ at low load and 5 to 7′ at medium to high load. The yoke track roller with an arc outer diameter has an adjustability of 15 to 20′. When there is a large angular error, there will be significant edge stress depending on the load, which will reduce the life of the bearing.

When the yoke track roller is installed into a bearing housing using the usual fit like a rolling bearing, the load is selected in the "Basic load rating" column. When the outer ring is directly supported on the raceway, the radial load of the supporting roller will cause elastic deformation of the outer ring. In this way, the rolling element load distribution will change and the peak load will increase, resulting in a reduction in dynamic and static load capacity. At this time, the load column "As a supporting roller" should be selected. When assembling the support roller, the oil hole must be located in the non-loaded area.
